Udinese released a statement confirming Duvan Zapata has gone under the knife to correct the tendon problem and will be out of action for around four months.
The surgery was performed at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome by specialists including Professor Pierpaolo Mariani and Professor Attilio Santucci.
