Juventus could see the deal for Andrea Cambiaso crumble because Radu Dragusin’s agent warns he might not accept Genoa. ‘He is very disappointed.’
The transfer for wing-back Cambiaso was all done for €3m plus ownership of defender Dragusin, beating Inter to the 22-year-old.
However, that might not be quite so simple, because it was reported for a few days that Dragusin was not entirely happy with the drop down to Serie B.
Now his agent has confirmed that is going to be a problem for the 20-year-old centre-back, who spent the last six months on loan at Salernitana.
“Radu is very disappointed,” agent Florin Manea told Calciomercato.it.
“He showed me a message he received from Giorgio Chiellini. He knows he has to work hard and in future I am convinced he will be ready for a big club like Juventus. We’ll have to wait and see if Juventus got it wrong or not.”
The representative was asked if Dragusin will be in Genoa next week for a medical and the response was not positive.
“We’re not 100 per cent sure. There is a serious project at Genoa, but we cannot say now that we will go there. He is honoured by the interest, but it’s difficult to say yes immediately.
“With all due respect for Genoa, it’s not like Real Madrid called us in.”
Despite the lack of playing time at Juve and Salernitana, Dragusin still already has a senior cap for Romania.
He has been part of the Bianconeri youth academy since 2018 and also had a loan experience at Sampdoria in the first six months of the season before switching to Salernitana.

Chiellini now gone, to virtually everyone’s dismay. . If de Ligt indeed hits the road, we’re going to need more depth and quality on the back line. Dragusin showed grinta and quality during the Pirlo year. But then didn’t everybody?
really, he want all and now. How about you get constant playing time and then we’ll see if you’re ready for a club like Salernitana. He played only 7 games last season.
Dragusin was terrible for Sampdoria. Genoa under Blessin could be a great opportunity for him to develop. Very arrogant from a guy who has achieved very little.
Dragusin is a hero. Inadvertently he is saving Cambiaso from PhD Hell. The kid is way too young to be learning bad habits and the “Feng Shui” back, back, down, down. Look at Frabotta, shipped out as soon as Sun Tzu Max came. Now look at Pellegrini.
i can understand where DRAGUSIN coming from, juve did treat him bad – to be honest i dont want cambiaso- rather buy tyrell malacia from feyenoord for 20m euros – as man utd have bidded the same amount = next best left back – can defend and attack – is fast / great stamina / can dribble = unlike alex sandro
No Steve juve didn’t do well under Pirlo. They couldn’t defend and finished 4th.
Some of these comments hmmm … I ask myself. @ Mohammed every left back is fast and every player can dribble. Dutch defense is not Italian defense as they play more open there. @ Steven Pirlo changed the line up every game and we had some bad results, we were only able to qualify for the CL because Napoli choked in the last game. Some players flourished, but the team had zero solidity. Anyways lets not look into the past 2 years, but more the Future. Dragusin has not proved anything. Rugani is 2 times the defender he is. So he needs to play 30 games in a season at least and then we can see what kind of player he is. He will never get that game time in Juve. So he needs to shut up and start training because Genoa will climb back up.
he needs to take heart for what gatti did. he was in serie b last season and now he is back at juve and has a cap for italy. If dragusin cant get in salernitana team. it means he needs to go somewhere he can play all the games. serie b would be good for him.

Juve conceded 1 goal more under Pirlo than under Max. Had 2nd best defence under Pirlo, and the 4th best under Max… But scored 20 goals more… A statement that “Juve could not defend” is not really connected to reality
