Radu Dragusin will become the fifth most expensive Genoa player ever following his move to Tottenham Hotspur but could break into the top three if performance-related bonuses are met.

The 21-year-old defender is set to undergo his medical with Tottenham as he took off from Genoa airport on Wednesday morning.

Spurs have agreed to pay €25m plus €6m add-ons, meaning Dragusin’s sale will be one of the biggest ones ever completed by Il Grifone.

As highlighted by Sky Sport Italia, the Romania international will make it into the top three if Spurs end up paying the entire €31m transfer fee, which depends on whether performance-related bonuses are met.

Another Tottenham defender, Cristian Romero, is already among Genoa’s biggest sales as the Argentinean joined Juventus on a €31.5m deal in the summer of 2019.

Krzysztof Piatek’s €35m transfer to Milan in the 2019 January transfer window is currently the biggest sale in Genoa’s history.
