La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Douglas Luiz is open to joining Juventus as talks between the Old Lady and Aston Villa over a swap deal involving Weston McKennie continue.

Juventus are interested in Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, while the Premier League side want to secure the services of McKennie, so the two parties are discussing a potential swap deal.

Gazzetta reports Douglas Luiz has already informed his entourage that he’s open to moving to Turin but there is still no agreement between the Brazilian and the Serie A giants.

The pink paper claims the midfielder’s salary is affordable for the Old Lady, but Sky Sport Italia claims the 26-year-old has demanded €6.5m per season to join Juventus.

Both Sky and Gazzetta report that there is a gap between the transfer value of Luiz and McKennie.

Juventus value the American midfielder at €25m-30m, but according to Sky, the price for Luiz is around €60m.

Gazzetta confirms McKennie’s transfer value made by Juventus but claims that the asking price for Luiz is lower and is around €40m.
