Tuttomercatoweb claims the Juventus loanee, currently at Bayern Munich, will move back to Brazil this summer.

The winger has one year left on his contract with the Bianconeri and returns from an unsuccessful spell with Die Roten in the German Bundesliga.

Douglas Costa is not part of the plan at the Allianz Stadium and the outlet claims the player’s entourage have reached an agreement with the Bianconeri over a transfer to Gremio.

He should move on the same formula which saw him return to Bayern last summer.

The 30-year-old has only played 11 times in the Bundesliga this term, contributing one goal and one assist in the process.

He moved from Gremio to Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2010 and has spent the last 11 years in European football.

He picked up five Ukrainian championships with Shakhtar, before winning three Bundesliga titles with Bayern and three Scudetti with Juventus.

Douglas Costa has also won the Coppa Italia and the DFB-Pokal during his time in Italy and Germany and picked up the FIFA Club World Cup with the Bavarians this term.

The former Brazil international, capped 31 times, leaves Juventus after 103 appearances with the Old Lady.
