Torino have suffered a double injury blow after Lyanco and Diego Laxalt picked up problems while on international duty.
Toro confirmed on their official website that Lyanco returned with an MCL injury in his right knee, while Laxalt suffered a myotendinous pull in his right thigh quadriceps.
The former Bologna defender will not undergo surgery, whereas the Milan loanee will continue to be assessed.
However, they could now miss the Granata’s next Serie A match against Inter on Saturday.
