Milan starlet Chaka Traorè reacted to his first Serie A goal on social media and was congratulated by Rafael Leao: ‘Don’t wake me up from this wonderful dream.’

Traorè, 19, netted his first Serie A goal in Milan’s 3-0 win over Empoli on Sunday minutes after his introduction as a substitute in the second half.

All Milan players hugged the Ivorian striker after his goal at the Stadio Castellani Computer Gross Arena and could not hide his excitement after the final whistle.

The 19-year-old posted a picture of his celebration on Instagram and wrote in Italian: “Don’t wake me up from this wonderful dream.”

Jan-Carlo Simic, Kevin Zeroli and Davide Bartesaghi were among the Milan players commenting on Traorè’s post, but more Rossoneri stars congratulated the promising striker on and off the pitch, including Rafael Leao and captain Davide Calabria.

Traorè had scored his first goal at a senior level for Milan only four days earlier in a 4-1 victory against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia Round of 16.
