According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Gianluigi Donnarumma could undergo his medical examinations with PSG while on international duty with Italy.

Donnarumma has agreed on a €12m-a-year deal with PSG. where he will move as a free agent from Milan.

The Rome-based paper confirms the 22-year-old is on the verge of moving to Paris, but needs to complete his medical examinations before signing his contract with the Ligue 1 giants.

According to the report, PSG may ask Donnarumma to have his medical tests while on international duty with Italy so that they won’t have to wait until the end of the Euros to officially complete his signing.

However, if they decide to go ahead, they would need to receive the green light from the FIGC and Italy coach Roberto Mancini.

It remains to be seen whether the CT and the Italian football federation will let Donnarumma take his medicals with PSG while training with the Azzurri during Euro 2020, the first international competition the goalkeeper plays in his career.

Donnarumma made his Serie A debut under Sinisa Mihajlovic when he was just 16 years old in October 2015. He played 251 games with the Rossoneri.
