Gianluigi Donnarumma is leaving Milan as a free agent and it’s reported he is in talks with Barcelona as well as Juventus.
The Rossoneri brought Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan in for his medical today, signing a five-year contract, which suggests Donnarumma will not renew his deal at San Siro.
Juve had been the favourites, but Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia report this evening that Barcelona have matched Juve’s €10m per season wage offer.
In turn, the Blaugrana would send Marc-Andre ter Stegen to Borussia Dortmund.
Donnarumma was a Milan youth academy product who made his Serie A debut at the age of 16 in October 2015.
He is now 22 years old and the first choice goalkeeper for Italy.
