The goalkeeper came up through their youth academy and made his Serie A debut in October 2015, aged just 16 years and eight months.
He was already at the centre of another contract dispute before penning a new deal in 2017, but that too is about to expire at the end of this season.
According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, agent Mino Raiola put forward his demands to the Milan directors.

This is unlikely to be accepted by a club that is trying to lower the weight of salaries on its accounts going forward.
Raiola only just negotiated a new contract for Zlatan Ibrahimovic worth €7m per season.
Once again, the Rossoneri find themselves pushed into a corner with Donnarumma’s contract running down rapidly.
The goalkeeper will be in a position to negotiate a free transfer with any other club in 147 days.
