Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma makes his Paris Saint-Germain debut, starting in goal for today’s Ligue 1 game against Clermont.

It kicks off at the Parc des Princes at 16.00 UK time (15.00 GMT).

This is the first competitive appearance for the shot-stopper since he signed on from Milan as a free agent over the summer.

Donnarumma did play in Italy’s World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania, but this is his first club outing of the campaign.

The Italian had until now been snubbed in favour of Keylor Navas, but the late return of South Americans from international duty gave Donnarumma his chance.

It remains to be seen which of the two goalkeepers will be picked when PSG begin their Champions League group phase next week.

Marco Verratti pulled out of the Italy camp on Monday with a knee problem and is therefore not even on the Paris Saint-Germain bench this evening.
