Gianluigi Donnarumma finally gets his Champions League debut, as he starts with Marco Verratti and Lionel Messi for PSG against Manchester City.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The Italy international was voted Player of the Tournament at UEFA EURO 2020 when the Azzurri lifted the trophy at Wembley Stadium in July.

However, since joining Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent from Milan, he has only made two Ligue 1 appearances against Clermont Foot and Olympique Lyonnais.

After he was benched in favour of Keylor Navas for the games against FC Metz and Montpellier, Donnarumma is chosen to start in goal for tonight’s huge Champions League clash with Manchester City.

At the age of 22, after 215 Serie A appearances, this will be Donnarumma’s debut in the Champions League.

He is joined by fellow Italy international Verratti, who has recovered from a knee issue to start with Messi.
