Zlatan Ibrahimovic saw red in the second half of Parma-Milan on Sunday with the Rossoneri two goals up.
It appears the Swede was shown a red card for a misunderstanding, leaving many Milan players unimpressed.
According to Sky Sport, Gigio Donnarumma was among those protesting with the referee and told Maresca: “What are you doing? You always want to be the protagonist.”
Antonio Conte protested similarly back in January when Maresca sent him off in the final minutes of Udinese-Inter.
“It’s always you, Maresca. It’s always you. Even in the VAR, it’s always you, Maresca. Well done, Maresca," Conte told the referee.
Donnarumma was not booked for his protests, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic could receive a two-match ban.
