PSG are on the verge of agreeing a five-year contract with Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, earning €12m per season including bonuses.

Sportitalia had already made clear negotiations were at an advanced stage and taking new steps forward this afternoon.

Now Sky Sport Italia maintain the deal is done and Donnarumma will sign a five-year contract worth €12m per season including bonuses, which fits with the €10m plus bonuses reported by Sportitalia.

Donnarumma is currently on international duty ahead of Euro 2020, so will have his medical in Florence before Euro 2020 kicks off on Friday.

He is a free agent, as he did not extend his contract with Milan, which expires on June 30.

That is because he turned down the proposal worth €8m per season to stay with the Rossoneri.

Sky Sport Italia suggest PSG was by far from the first choice for agent Mino Raiola, especially as there are strict limits on commissions, release clauses and sell-on options in Ligue 1.

However, Juventus pulled out of the running in order to focus on Wojciech Szczesny, with Barcelona doing the same for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Paris Saint-Germain have recently extended their contract with Keylor Navas, but he should be able to find a new club relatively easily.
