Agent Enzo Raiola hit back at rumours PSG would like to sell Gianluigi Donnarumma as ‘sheer madness’ and insists coach Luis Enrique ‘adores’ the Italian.

There have been growing reports in France and Italy over the last couple of months at dissatisfaction within the Paris Saint-Germain camp, both from the club and Donnarumma himself, who might be looking for a new challenge.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Fabrizio Romano responded today by assuring there are no plans to part with Donnarumma and he remains their first choice goalkeeper, having taken the spot from Keylor Navas.

Later this evening, agent Raiola also spoke to Sport Mediaset to shut down the suggestions the Italy international was on the transfer market this summer.

“It is sheer madness. Luis Enrique adores Gigio and considers him essential to take PSG to the top of European football. The directors, above all director of sport Luis Campos, smiled when I told them the tone of some of the articles that had been published in Italy.”

Now 24, Donnarumma joined Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent in the summer of 2021 after allowing his contract with Milan to run down.

His current deal with the Ligue 1 side is due to expire in June 2026.

Dopodiché possiamo preferire i caucasici europei a Costa Rican meticci amerindi… sapori e colori!
