Fabrizio Romano reports Inter have reached a full agreement with Iran international Mehdi Taremi, who will join the Nerazzurri on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Inter have secured the signature of Porto striker Taremi on a free transfer. The 31-year-old will move to the Stadio Meazza at the end of the season, reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
According to the report, Taremi will sign a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further campaign. The Nerazzurri have already booked medical examinations for the Iran international.
Taremi will sign his contract with the Nerazzurri after completing his medical checks.
The experienced centre-forward had previously been linked with Inter’s city rivals Milan, who tried to sign him last summer.
Taremi will become the first Nerazzurri signing for next season but will likely be followed by Piotr Zielinski, who is expected to join the Serie A giants on a free transfer after the end of his contract with defending Serie A champions Napoli.
Taremi has scored six goals in 24 appearances with Porto this season.

“Milan, who tired to sign him last summer” – from the POV of a Milan fan who followed the whole tiresome transfer process, that’s a very accurate keyboard slip.
