Roma have finalised their agreement with Genoa for Uzbekistan striker Eldor Shomurodov, claim multiple reports tonight, with a medical due on Monday.

Negotiations were already at a very advanced stage and the final details were worked out this evening.

Sky Sport Italia define it as a loan deal with obligation to buy at the end of the season, rather than an option.

The cost of the operation will be €17.5m plus up to €2.5m in bonuses, taking the total fee to €20m.

Genoa will also retain 10 per cent of any future transfer fee when Shomurodov leaves Roma.

Sportitalia give the figure at over €17m.

Shomurodov turned 26 last month and scored eight goals in 31 Serie A games during his debut Italian campaign, but he only started 16 of those matches.

He found his form more as the season went on, scoring five in his last six matches.

Not technically connected, but also discussed as part of the talks, Genoa have requested Roma youth team midfielder Edoardo Bove on loan.
