Multiple reports in Italy claim Milan have reached an agreement to sign Noah Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg.

Sky Sport Italia claims the Rossoneri will sign the Swiss striker for €13-15m, including add-ons. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old will undergo his medical with the Serie A giants on Saturday.

Okafor has scored 34 goals in 110 games with Salzburg, including one against the Rossoneri in a Champions League group stage game last season.

He joined the Austrian club from Basel for €11.2m in January 2020.

Milan continue talks with Villarreal for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze and are confident of securing a deal for circa €30m.

The Rossoneri have signed five players this summer after selling Sandro Tonali to Newcastle for circa €80m. Milan’s new purchases are Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders.

The Serie A giants will leave for their pre-season tour in the USA today, Friday, July 21.

  1. Okafor and Chukwueze along with Leao and Giroud is a fantastic attacking line up! Once these guys gel as a team I have no doubt there be awesome.
