Multiple sources claim Manchester United are finalising Sofyan Amrabat’s transfer from Fiorentina on loan with an option to buy.

Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sport Italia report that Amrabat’s move from Manchester United to Fiorentina is a done deal.

The Red Devils have made a new, improved offer for the Morocco international which has been accepted by Fiorentina.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Tuscans will get €10m for the player’s loan while Manchester United’s option to buy is set at €20m plus €5m add-ons.

The Athletic reported earlier today that Manchester United director of football negotiations Matt Hargreaves had flown to Italy hoping to close the deal with the Tuscans.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina have identified Maxime Lopez as Amrabat’s replacement. The Frenchman is expected to join the Viola from Sassuolo today.

This means Fiorentina will likely drop Napoli‘s Diego Demme, who emerged as a potential reinforcement if Amrabat had gone to Old Trafford.
