Done deal: Koopmeiners set for Juventus medical

Romeo Agresti, Sky, and La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm it’s a done deal. According to the pink paper, the 26-year-old will undergo medical tests on Wednesday.

Koopmeiners has been Juventus’ primary target this summer.

He pushed to join the Old Lady, refusing to train with Atalanta over the last few weeks and providing a medical certificate.

Koopmeiners was not involved in Atalanta games against Real Madrid, Lecce and Torino.

Koopmeiners joined Atalanta for just €14m from AZ Alkmaar in 2021.

He scored 29 goals and provided 15 assists in 129 games with La Dea and won the Europa League last season.
