Juventus have reportedly secured the signature of Genoa left-back Andrea Cambiaso, beating Inter, Atalanta, Sassuolo and more.

The 22-year-old impressed this season in the Grifone jersey, scoring one goal and providing four assists in 26 Serie A appearances.

A product of the Genoa youth academy, he was under contract until June 2023 and therefore had to be sold this summer.

Inter seemed to be the favourites a couple of weeks ago when meeting his agent at the club headquarters.

However, Juventus overtook them and Sportitalia now claim a deal has been struck between the two teams.

Genoa will receive €3.5m cash plus ownership of defender Radu Dragusin, who had already been on loan at Marassi.

Cambiaso is expected to undergo a medical and then put pen to paper on a four-year contract later this week.

Other clubs who were linked with Cambiaso over the summer included Atalanta, Bologna, Sassuolo, Salernitana and Spanish outfit Sevilla.

  1. Jokes aside, if Inter keep Dumfries and buy Bellanova then Inter would have 4 fullbacks/wingbacks: Dumfries, Bellanova, Gosens and Darmian. No room for a 5th WB.

  2. Not sure why they’re giving them dragusin especially with de ligt eventually leaving. This feels like a paratici type of brainfart but he’s no longer here. Not sure what’s going on but seriously hoping they know something I don’t. Pellegrini gone. Boh 🤷🏻‍♂️
