Conrad Harder will be the new Milan centre-forward, as clubs and player have all agreed the €27m move including add-ons from Sporting CP.

In fairness, the two clubs had already shaken hands on the proposal two days ago, but since then the Rossoneri have been working to convince the striker on the sporting project.

This also involved rebuffing the approach from Stade Rennais, who had been very close to reaching an agreement themselves over the last few days, before Milan dived in.

Harder has given Milan his blessing

Now we are down to the final red tape details, then Harder will be on Italian soil to undergo a medical and sign the contract.

The hitman was an option pushed forward by intermediary Busardò, although obviously this profile was also given the all clear by coach Max Allegri too.

It goes without saying that this was not the first choice for the tactician, who had his heart set on a reunion with his old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
