Frosinone have agreed to sign talented forward Reinier from Real Madrid on loan, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Giallazzurri have returned to Serie A for the first time in four years following their relegation in the 2018-19 season, earning promotion under previous coach Fabio Grossi with a first-place finish in the second tier.

Frosinone have been active this summer trying to bolster Eusebio Di Francesco’s squad, picking up Juventus trio Enzo Barrenechea, Matias Soule and Kaio Jorge, Marseille’s Pol Lirola and Napoli’s Walid Cheddira.

As reported by Romano, Frosinone have agreed a deal with Real Madrid for Reinier, signing him on a season-long loan with no permanence clause attached.

The 21-year-old Brazilian forward spent last season on loan with Girona, where he only managed two goals and one assist in 18 league appearances. The year prior, he failed to directly contribute to a single goal for Borussia Dortmund during a disappointing loan spell.
