Bologna have agreed a deal worth €5m plus a 15 per cent cut of the sell-on fee with Gimnasia La Plata for Benjamin Dominguez, as his medical is also set.

According to Argentine transfer expert Cesar Luis Merlo, the two clubs shook hands on the agreement and are exchanging the contracts.

The player will cost €5m and Gimnasia La Plata can retain a 15 per cent share of his next sale.

Dominguez is expected to travel out on Friday for a medical over the weekend, where he will sign a contract to June 2029.

The versatile winger can play on the left, right or even in a support striker role and will celebrate his 21st birthday next month.

He is a product of the Gimnasia La Plata youth academy.
