Francesco Camarda will put pen to paper on his first professional contract with Milan following the success of Italy Under-17 at the European Championship.
The 16-year-old striker emerged as one of the most exciting youngsters in Italian football this season following his promotion to the Rossoneri Primavera squad, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists across 41 matches for the Under-19 squad.
Camarda was part of the Italy Under-17 at the European Championship, where he played a leading role in their historic charge to the title, scoring four goals in their successful campaign, including two in the final against Portugal.
Camarda ready for Milan
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Camarda has reached a total agreement with Milan regarding his first professional contract and will soon sign the three-year deal. He attracted attention from a number of clubs across Europe over the last few months, including Manchester City.
The 16-year-old has already made his debut for the Rossoneri first team and is expected to be a part of the club’s new Under-23 squad in Serie C.
