Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Inter for goalkeeper Ionut Radu, who will complete the move this week, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The 26-year-old Romanian goalkeeper did not leave with the Nerazzurri for their pre-season tour to Japan, despite the fact that there are no first team shot stoppers left following the departures of Samir Handanovic and Andre Onana.
Radu was not part of Simone Inzaghi’s Inter squad last season, spending the first half of the campaign on loan with Cremonese before switching them for French side Auxerre.
As reported by Romano, Bournemouth have reached a total agreement with Inter for Radu, who will now join the Cherries on a loan deal with a buy option attached set at €8m.
The 26-year-old is now set to undergo his medicals with the Premier League side on Wednesday before completing his move.
Radu joined Inter as a teenager in 2013 and spent three years in their youth system before bouncing around various clubs on loan. He was the unfortunate hero for Milan in the 2021-22 season, when his decisive mistake in Inter’s 2-1 loss to Bologna spelt the end of their Scudetto hopes.
