Donadoni: ‘You saw the penalty’

Roberto Donadoni suffered a fourth consecutive defeat and once again had complaints about the referee as Inter conquered the Dall’Ara.

Eder kicked Blerim Dzemaili on the shin, right on top of the line, but the referee waved play on and Gabigol snatched a late winner.

“Last week we lost with a penalty that didn’t exist,” mused Donadoni on Sky Sport Italia.

“Today their goal was valid and we paid the price for a very naïve error. We did well overall, but lost a tackle and we should’ve been more determined in that situation.

“Only conceding one goal to Inter in these circumstances isn’t something to be embarrassed about. We needed to be less frenetic in attack, otherwise we would’ve had more chances of our own.”

Bologna have had a very rough ride from referees in recent weeks and Eder did appear to kick Dzemaili’s shin.

“What more can I say now? You all saw it, what can I say? I’ve nothing left to say.”
