Donadoni appears to be the more likely candidate given his experience with mid-level teams in Italy’s top flight, but Prandelli is also looking to get back into football since being sacked by Galatasaray last November.
Other names linked with the role include former Rossoblu boss Francesco Guidolin, Eugenio Corini and axed Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi.
