Parma’s game with Chievo is snowed off, but Roberto Donadoni warned club chaos has “reached the point of no return.”

The game was meant to be tomorrow, but has now been moved to Wednesday February 11 at 17.00 GMT.

Nonetheless, Donadoni held his usual Press conference and used it to send a clear message ahead of the February 16 deadline for unpaid wages.

“We will prove ourselves professionals to the bitter end and complete the season,” said the Coach.

The situation took another bizarre twist this week when Rezart Taci, who only bought the club in December, sold his majority shares to mystery new owners.

“There’s not much I can say, is there? There is only a week left to go until the deadline. I do not understand the reasoning behind this little show.

“We’ve seen everything this season, but enough is enough. We’ve had it now. They cannot keep taking us for a ride and I hope that whoever took over has honest intentions.

“On Monday we will get a definitive answer to all of this. If they want to save the club, then it’s Monday or never again. We don’t want to lose further credibility, so we demand to see concrete facts.

“We don’t want anything to do with people who just want to get attention. This is yet another test that demands our leap of faith. What I’ve read so far in the papers isn’t reassuring.

“We are exhausted and so are the fans. We don’t need any more chaos. I spoke to the patron yesterday for five minutes. He told me where he’s from, what he does for a living and I have no reason to doubt him. I hope he can do what is best for Parma.”

Even if the players do get their six months of unpaid wages, the team remains rock bottom of Serie A with just nine points.

“We are still in the running and I am convinced if things go the way they should, then we can secure safety,” continued Donadoni.

“The players were surprised by this latest twist. We can only be optimistic. With Taci it seemed as if he needed a few days to look at the paperwork, instead…

“We have had our fill and reached the point of no return. This requires strong decisions that may well be costly on a personal level, but we have to do something constructive for everybody. Not just say it, but do it.

“This whole situation is intolerable. Enough, this is the behaviour of cowards. In football we need real people, not those who tell fairytales. Those are good for five-year-olds who want to sleep, but we need to stay wide awake.

“I will not run away, I will not quit and there is no guarantee that on February 16 the wages will be paid. I also cannot say who will stay and who will go. I do know there’s a limit to everything.”
