The Ducali have been relegated for some time and under administration since March, but there’s still no buyer to ensure they can register for the next Serie B season.

“The administrators spoke to the side and we will decide on a strike after the training session,” said Coach Donadoni in his Press conference.

“If everyone respects the pacts that were made, then we will do our duty to the end. We have done everything we could do.

“We reduced our outstanding wage bill by 75 per cent. It is only right that some accepted to reduce by 50 per cent, which is not the same thing.

“I spoke to (FIGC President Carlo) Tavecchio yesterday and he confirmed these are not credits to be added to the sporting debt. I believe he is a man of his word.

“The Lega Serie A is never clear in its position. They are always vague and don’t give a sense of clarity about what action will be taken.

“This is the way our football world is treated now, leaving room for people who are sneaky.

“On the other hand, our locker room was formed with a bond of friendship and this created a few difficulties.

“We maintained a certain approach to go all the way and some were left behind. They are all good lads and perhaps were sent down the wrong path by other people. Nobody is pointing the gun at anyone.”

Parma had threatened to go on strike before because they wanted genuine reform and not for holes to be plugged just so they could finish the season.

“I get the feeling that after tomorrow night we’ll be abandoned. There’s no interest in us any more and our issues don’t make headlines. This is my fear.

“For the rest of my life I will hold in my heart the great consideration of the people of Parma. This year helped me grow and taught me a great deal, also understanding many other sides to the people who were with us.

“I am disappointed with the behaviour of some of our ex-players, but I am not angry with anyone in particular.”
