Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni stands up for his side’s recent performances and concedes it’ll be a special game against hometown club Atalanta.

“We’ve got to do well to keep the spaces tight, as Atalanta can really hurt us on the counter-attack. We mustn’t pay attention to the atmosphere around us, as the pitch is the same for both teams.

“Of course this is my land, so clearly it is always a pleasure to come back here. I grew up in the Atalanta youth academy, even if so many years have now passed since I was playing here.”

Parma have had a few hiccups recently, picking up just three points from the last five rounds. Massimo Gobbi, Raffaele Palladino and Daniele Galloppa are injured.

“Anxiety only emerges if you are not convinced that you’re doing the right thing. In recent games we could’ve earned more points, but we were not always sharp enough in front of goal.”
