Roberto Donadoni warned Bologna have “a psychological issue” and a lot of work to do despite their 1-0 win away to Benevento.

A Godfred Donsah counter-attack secured all three points at the Stadio Vigorito this afternoon, meaning the Rossoblu are still unbeaten in Serie A this season.

“We could’ve rounded out the result and suffered less at the end,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

Benevento did have the ball in the back of the net, but the equaliser was ruled offside using VAR technology.

“Our problem is not in our style of football, but rather a psychological issue. I feared this game more than the one against Torino last week.

“Now we have a lot of work to do and the break for international duty comes at just the right time. We have to work on the overall attitude.

“I am happy for Donsah, as he is an enterprising young man who always gives it a go, so he deserved that goal.”

It should’ve been 1-0 a lot earlier, but Mattia Destro missed a sitter by drilling wide of the open goal.

“You expect a striker like him to score, but we must also take into account that he created the chance by intercepting a pass. It would’ve been better with a goal, but he did put in a good performance.”
