Sampdoria left-back Dodo has landed in Brazil and will undergo a medical before completing his transfer to Santos.
The 26-year-old Brazilian has been in Italy since 2012 at Roma, Inter and Sampdoria.
According to Globoesporte, Dodo arrived in Brazil and will have a series of medical tests.
A deal is expected to be finalised over the next few days on loan to the end of the season with option to buy for €1.5m.
Samp can also retain five per cent of any future sale.
