The 20-year-old suffered a knee injury and only made his return to the pitch in May.
It’s believed a deal had been struck back in March, when the Giallorossi leapfrogged Manchester United in the race to sign Dodo.
United had tried to sign him three years ago, but FIFA blocked the transfer as he was under-age.
