“They have a Coach who is relatively young and I know him from Empoli. When I spoke to people from the club I was even more sure about wanting to sign.
“I don’t like to talk about myself. I’ll let the fans judge me once they see what I can do. I’ve always liked creative players – Kaka and Zinedine Zidane were my favourites.
“I am here to help the team reach their goals for the season. Of course I’d like to play as much as possible, to score goals and provide assists, but the team result always comes first.
“I will always give my maximum, my heart and my body to Sampdoria, so hope we can have many happy moments over the next year. Forza Sampdoria.”
