“It was all beautiful,” Djuricic told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Everything was wonderful except with Giamapolo.

The Serbian explained former Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi helped him find ‘continuity’ at the Mapei Stadium.
“He changed my vision of football,” Djuricic said. “With him, I found that continuity that I couldn’t maintain in the past.
“He showed that you can play as you think, it’s easy to talk, but doing it is something else entirely.”
Djurici admitted new coach Alessio Dionisi has changed some things at Sassuolo after replacing De Zerbi, who joined Shakhtar Donetsk ahead of the new campaign.
“Football wise, something has changed, even if we are only at the beginning,” the forward added. “But the premises are very good.
“Let’s say that the character and approach are similar. It’s certainly no coincidence that he was chosen, Sassuolo do things well.”
