Filip Djordjevic could not hide his delight after bagging a hat-trick in Lazio’s 4-0 victory over Palermo on Monday night.
The Serbian hitman, a summer signing from Nantes, netted his first Serie A goals of the season at the Renzo Barbera to ease the pressure on Coach Stefano Pioli.
“I'm very happy about these three goals. A striker needs to score in order to have confidence,” Djordevic told reporters post-match.

“I’m very happy for the team, and tonight we played with so much malice and aggression.
“We’ve played well in two or three matches this season, but the results did not arrive.
“During the first half, we played a little worse, but after my first goal, it was made all the more easier.
“My best goal? The second one.”
