Lazio striker Filip Djordjevic says ‘preparing for matches was easier without Europe’ ahead of their clash with Rosenborg.
The Biancocelesti are in the middle of a poor run of domestic form, losing three out of their last four Serie A matches.
Serbia international Djordjevic pointed to their hectic schedule as a reason why their form has stalled, but believes they have the ‘confidence’ to recover.
The Aquile face Rosenborg in Europa League Group G tomorrow evening, with kick off at 20:05 UK time.

“Physically I'm really well,” Djordjevic said at today’s Press conference.
“The beginning of the season was difficult, I had two injuries, but now I'm working well and I hope to play more and more.
"We’ve changed a few things in training and we have prepared for this match in the best possible way.
“We know that the derby is soon, but for now we’re thinking about Rosenborg and qualification.
"This year there are three of us strikers, there is so much competition. The Coach will obviously make the decisions, but the season is long and we will have space.
"Last year it was easier to prepare for matches with European commitments. Maybe we're not yet ready to play three games in a week, so the Coach is doing well to rotate the team.
"We have confidence, we are a team with experience and we don’t lose faith after a defeat.
“In Europe we are doing well and we want to continue like this.
“Physically the team seemed tired, but we aren’t. We just messed up one match, but that can happen. In the summer we worked well, aware of our many commitments.”
