According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter directors will meet Simone Inzaghi and his staff today to analyse the team’s problems.

The Nerazzurri have lost three of their opening nine games across all competitions, including the last match before the break: a 3-1 defeat against Udinese at the Dacia Arena.

Inzaghi and Inter directors will reportedly meet today at Appiano Gentile to analyse the team’s issues.

The coach is not in trouble, provided that results and performances improve over the next few weeks.

Inter directors are worried about the player’s physical shape. The team’s dip in the second part of the games is a matter of concern that Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio want to discuss with Inzaghi’s staff.

Players have also shown a lack of concentration, conceding 11 goals so far. Inter directors will investigate the group’s motivation and why the players don’t seem driven by a desire for revenge after missing out on the Serie A title last season.

They are not going to discuss Inzaghi’s tactical choices, but some decisions from the coach, such as replacing Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan after just 30 minutes in the last game against Udinese, seemed hurried and similar decisions in the future could take certainties off the group. That’s why they will also discuss the team’s management asking for more balance and flexibility.
