Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi is ‘fed up’ with defensive errors and insists Juventus‘ third goal ‘was all our fault.’

The Neroverdi boss spoke at a post-match press conference attended by Football Italia on Tuesday night, following Juventus’ 3-0 win at the Allianz Stadium.

“Unfortunately, we were not accurate enough and surely made errors on the Juventus goals. Their third one really upset me. I am fed up with seeing similar mistakes. It’s not the first time it has happened, and this has to stop. It changes nothing in terms of results, but it changes a lot in terms of mentality, self-esteem and analysis. It’s an error we should not repeat.

“We did create something but made mistakes, and Juventus didn’t,” continued the Neroverdi boss.

“We didn’t deserve a positive result and we didn’t even deserve a heavy defeat either, but this happens when you make errors.

“I believe we could have scored a goal or it could have finished 2-0 for them, but the third goal is all our fault. It’s a heavy defeat, Juventus put in intensity and didn’t concede much in the first half. We reacted in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.”
