Davide Dionisi warns Sassuolo that Atalanta are ‘similar to Torino’, but insists his side have the quality to ‘play the game we want.’
Sassuolo meet Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium tomorow.
It kicks off at 19.45.
Sassuolo suffered back to back defeats against Roma and Torino, so Dionisi explained what went wrong in the last two games.
“We were not masters of the game from start to finish. We had to use our quality and we didn’t do it. It won’t be an easy game tomorrow, against a team that has a similar identity to Torino,” he told Sassuolochannel.
“We need to be more focused from the beginning until the end. Atalanta can create trouble for everybody, they are a top team and it is no coincidence that they are in the Champions League and battling for the top spots.
“We’ll go there with the desire to put in better performance, Atalanta and Torino are similar. On paper, Atalanta are the favourite, but we can change this on the pitch. We have the quality to play the game we want,” the coach continued.
“We must obtain more from what we create and have the desire to finish the attack. This doesn’t depend only on attacking players, but everybody must be put in the right conditions to score. We must be clinical and make the most of the chances we create.”
