Sampdoria are about to change hands after Massimo Ferrero’s stepped down and the Dinan-Vialli group are reportedly in pole to take over the Blucerchiati.
Il Secolo XIX reports Gianluca Vidal, the accountant of Ferrero, will take care of the sale of the club.
The Blucerchiati are hoping to change owner as soon as possible and Gianluca Vialli seems to be the preferred path for the fans.
Former President Edoardo Garrone has given his support for the Dinan-Vialli group, and the newspaper reveals the takeover can be completed before Christmas.
It will reportedly take a few more weeks to understand the decision of the Bankruptcy Court of Rome on the arrangement of Eleven Finance, the real estate branch of the Ferrero family.
Sampdoria announced Ferrero stepped down from the position as President of the club after being arrested yesterday.
Vialli and his group of investors were close to buying the club in the summer of 2019, but withdrew their offer after ‘long and extenuating negotiations’.
