The 28-year-old started a number of the Vesuviani’s closing League fixtures of last season, but in managing only 16 appearances total, had gone into this summer with strong speculation over his future.
With the Uruguayan’s contract just about to enter into its final year, interest appeared strongest from Russia, with Rubin Kazan’s sporting director seen as having recently met with the player’s agent, in relation to a proposal from Napoli involving a bid for Yann M’Vila.
However, with that avenue seemingly having closed, Dinamo Moscow have emerged as frontrunners and, according to Il Mattino, are due to tie up formalities very soon.
Whilst the Naples daily report that Britos has had concerns over the move and that there is currently no formal agreement between Dinamo and Napoli, the report is that the transfer’s completion will be not long in arriving.
