Inter are reportedly on the verge of completing a renewal of Federico Dimarco’s contract at San Siro until June 2026.

The defender returned from a spell on loan with Hellas Verona and has been a revelation at the Giuseppe Meazza under coach Simone Inzaghi.

He has shown his worth in the first months of the campaign and earned his right to be in the first team of the Nerazzurri, who are ready to extend his deal.

Calciomercato.com reports the agreement of a new deal was reached a few days ago and the parties are only formalities away from completing the operation.

The player has expressed his desire to continue with the Beneamata and will reportedly pen a new five-year deal until June 2026 worth €1.6m a season.

Dimarco has played 12 Serie A games, contributing two goals and two assists in the process, and has appeared in all five Champions League games so far this term.

The outlet claims the official announcement of the new deal will arrive soon.
