Lucas Digne says Roma ‘are working hard to get back to winning’ and that his future ‘isn’t up to me’.

The French full-back is currently on loan in Rome, but the Giallorossi have the option to buy him at the end of the season.

The capital club have fallen off the title pace recently and replaced Rudi Garcia with former Coach Luciano Spalletti last week as a result of the poor form.

“The more I play, the better I feel,” Digne said to Roma Radio.

“I’m doing well at Roma, this city is even more beautiful than I thought and in my free time I walk around a lot.

“Difference between Spalletti and Garcia? They’re two great coaches, but obviously they have different methods.

“The Italian league is much harder than the French league, but I’m a defender and must earn respect on the pitch to defend the Roma colours.

“We’re working hard to get back to winning. Clearly we need to try and get a little more consistency in our results.

“My future? I’d like to stay, but it’s not up to me.”
