“Benoit Trémoulinas is out of the next two matches for Les Bleus after suffering a contusion to his quadriceps,” a statement from the Fédération Française de Football announced.
“Didier Deschamps has called AS Roma defender Lucas Digne.”
Deschamps gave a brief explanation of the choice, with his side set to face Armenia and Denmark over the international break.
“Benoit Trémoulinas has a muscular issue after his last game. I’ll leave him available to his club, and he’ll be replaced by Lucas Digne.”
