Spanish forward Brahim Diaz revealed veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic advised him to ‘help’ Milan with his ‘great talent’.

The 40-year-old is expected to start against Bologna tonight and Brahim Diaz has also been called up for the trip to the Renato Dall’Ara.

The 22-year-old has contributed three goals in 10 Serie A games so far and has appeared four times in the Champions League.

Diaz explained that Zlatan still ‘makes a difference’ at 40 for the Diavolo and revealed that the Sweden international asked him to use his talent to ‘help’ his teammates.

“He’s the same age as my dad,” Diaz told DAZN. “He is like Benjamin Button, he can play for many more years.

“He still makes a difference. He tells me to do what I know how to do. That I have a great talent and I have to help the team.”

Diaz left Malaga in January 2014 and signed with Manchester City’s youth team. He spent five years at the Citizens and returned to Spain in January 2019, when he signed with Real Madrid.
