Under the rain at Milanello, Milan began their final training session ahead of tomorrow’s vital Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.

The Rossoneri currently sit third in Group E after four games, being two points behind second place RB Salzburg and three points behind group leaders Chelsea. A win over Zagreb is key tomorrow for Milan as they desperately fight for a spot in the Round of 16 of the Champions League, something that could take their total revenues from Europe to €60m this season.

As highlighted by TMW, Brahim Diaz and Sergino Dest were both absent from today’s squad training session in Milanello, with the former carrying out personalised work and the latter training in the gym. Both players came off injured early in the second half of the win over Monza and seem likely to miss Milan’s Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow.

Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all also out injured, and Fikayo Tomori is suspended following his red card in the loss to Chelsea.

  1. Diaz, Dest, Maignan, Florenzi, Calabria, Saelemaekers, Tomori, Ibra all out. How the hell did Milan allow themselves to get at this point before such a crucial game? Seems like they will need mother luck to get anything out of this game.

  2. We have most positions with adequate coverage. Except for the GK – Tata is far from a sure thing in goal.

  3. @ For the love of Milan, yet he’s undefeated in goal vs inert last year or buve this season.

Dest is out, whilst Coubis will be on the bench.
