Amadou Diawara is expected to complete his move from Bologna to Napoli in the next two days.

The midfielder is certain to leave the Rossoblu this summer, as he’s on strike in order to force a transfer.

It was reported yesterday that a deal is very close for the 19-year-old, with the Partenopei expected to pay a total of €15m including transfer fee and bonuses.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is reporting that Napoli are confident of closing the deal today or tomorrow, with Diawara to sign a five-year contract.

It appears there have been positive steps in the resolution of agents’ fees, an issue which was reportedly stopping the deal from being completed.

While Di Marzio expects a permanent transfer, Diawara could also arrive on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy.
