Amadou Diawara has reportedly rejected a transfer to Galatasaray after Roma had given the all-clear to this move, while Stefano Okaka is close to Istanbul Basaksehir.

The Giallorossi had been more than prepared to let midfielder Diawara leave the Stadio Olimpico for a new experience this summer and the Turkish transfer window is still open.

According to Sky Sport Italia, among other sources in Italy, Roma had accepted the bid from Galatasaray.

However, Diawara has no intention of leaving and turned down the proposal via his agent.

In other transfer news, Udinese striker Okaka is already in Istanbul to negotiate the details of his move to Basaksehir.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Okaka is asking for a three-year contract, whereas the offer at the moment is for two seasons with an option for a third.

The 32-year-old is still under contract with Udinese until June 2022, but is not part of their plans.
